Malaysia Army Assault Vest
600D Polyester Tiger Stripe Camouflage Malaysia Army Assault Vest, The modular Tactical Vest with Hydration Pack
The Modular Tactical Vest (in short: MTV or MoTaV) is a ballistic vest originally adopted by the United States Marine Corps in 2006. The MTV was designed as a solution to shortcomings in the current, decade-old Interceptor body armor (IBA) and was selected after a rigorous proposal and examination process by the Marine Corps. The MTV provides better protection levels than the IBA, although it uses the same Small Arms Protective Insert (SAPI) plates. The MTV weighs 30 pounds (14 kg); three pounds more than the IBA, but is designed to more effectively distribute its weight throughout the wearer's torso. The Navy also ordered 28,000 MTVs in August 2008.
The Malaysia Military Assault Tactical Vest Tiger Stripe Camouflage is an all round tactical vest with pockets of varying sizes to hold virtually all soldier’s army use accessories and needs. The best feature of the SAAV is the large hip pocket on left and right sides which can be used as dump pockets, utility pouches, spares pouches or any combination of the three. The SAAV also has a long, thin back pouch which can be used for carrying a hydration bladder, spare clothing or water bottle.
